Please make a separate check out to FCS (fundraiser lunches in memo line). Any questions, please call the office at 924-2177. Cost is now only $2.00 for all students and staff. Beverages are not included in price.
Guidelines for Ordering Hot Lunch
Order forms are sent home the third Friday of the month for the following month. They are due back in the office along with payment the following Wednesday (This might vary due to days off etc). Hot Lunch has its own account so please do not include payment for other things such as milk or field trips on checks. Be aware that students have been known to "lose" their order in their cavernous backpacks while thinking they have turned them in! Late orders will not be accepted.
Credits normally will not be given for missed lunches. While it is understood that you can't predict illnesses etc., much of the food is ordered/purchased at the beginning of the month based on the counts. You can have the meal sent home with a sibling but you must make the request prior to the lunch being served. Field trip dates should be taken in to account when ordering. Reminders of field trips will be put on the order form if I am aware of them. If a field trip is scheduled after orders are due, I will try to give a credit to those affected to be applied to the following months order. This will depend on how much notice is given and whether or not adjustments can be made to the food order.
Tickets are needed for a student to receive a meal. One ticket is issued for the whole month at the beginning of the month. Students are given their tickets just prior to each meal and they are to hand them in when they go through the line. Please record what lunches your child ordered prior to handing in the order form. It is not unusual for a student to try to go through the line thinking they ordered that day when they hadn't. Meals must be ordered in advance and cannot be purchased the day of.
